Twin Lakes came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Elwood Panthers. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.

Trae Haworth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Twin Lakes secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Aidan Holle, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Twin Lakes' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Elwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season.
