The Camp Verde Cowboys took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday (and then some). They blew past Northland Prep Academy, posting a 64-36 win at home. That's another feather in the cap for Camp Verde, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Camp Verde's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Bahe, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Mcmahon-fullmer, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
Camp Verde's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Northland Prep Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Camp Verde will be playing at home against Glendale Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glendale Prep Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Northland Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Williams at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
