Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Agricultural Science). They enjoyed a cozy 80-61 victory over the Schurz Bulldogs on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Cyclones as they're now sitting on three straight.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was MICHAEL BROWN, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Those 21 points gave BROWN a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JOHN COPPAGE, who en route to 16 points.
Agricultural Science's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Schurz, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-12.
Looking ahead, Agricultural Science will be playing in front of their home fans against Morgan Park at 7:30 p.m. on February 26th. Agricultural Science has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Schurz, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-50 loss against Christian Fenger Academy on the 21st.
