Haylee Lopez made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in home runs (two).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Chloe Morgan, who scored two runs while going 4-for-5. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kimberly Westover, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
