If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Tyrone. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Bishop Carroll at 7:00 PM. Tyrone will be strutting in after a win while Bishop Carroll will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Tyrone didn't have too much trouble with Central last Friday as they won 33-14. Senior Zac Albright, who rushed for 200 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in Tyrone's success.
Meanwhile, Bishop Carroll might be aching after a bruising 6-35 loss to East Canton. Bishop Carroll were down by 6-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Bishop Carroll's defeat took them down to 1-1 while Tyrone's victory pulled them up to 2-0. A win for Bishop Carroll would reverse both their bad luck and Tyrone's good luck. We'll see if Bishop Carroll manages to pull off that tough task or if Tyrone keeps their momentum going instead.
