Claire Whitley put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
