The Jellico Blue Devils entered their tilt with the Carter Green Hornets with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Jellico skirted past Carter 70-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Carson Bolton, who scored 46 points along with eight rebounds. The game was his 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dre Webb, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Jellico is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Carter, they have fallen quite a ways from their 25-10 record last season and are now at 5-8.
Jellico won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against West Ridge at 8:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Carter, they will head out on the road to face off against Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
