Eagle Grove will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Eagle Grove had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-61 to Belmond-Klemme. Eagle Grove were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-54.
Meanwhile, Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-46 punch to the gut against Roland-Story last Friday.
