South Putnam entered their tilt with West Vigo on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over the West Vigo Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, West Vigo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lydia Jones posted 12 points. Jessa Bark was another key player, putting up six points.

South Putnam's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. As for West Vigo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

South Putnam has already played their next game, a 52-25 loss against Covenant Christian on the 21st. As for West Vigo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 32-24 victory against Brown County on the 21st.
