Ian Bonde and Liam Godfrey provided fans with a highlight when they connected against San Marin. The connection was good for 97 yards, the longest such play in Tri-County - Rock this season.
Salesian moved up to 349 from 472 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pride were able to move up by topping Valley Christian 19-13.
Saint Mary's's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Bonde threw for 232 and 3 touchdowns and Godfrey had 164 yards receiving. On the ground Lorenzo Logwood chipped in 124 yards. Eric Philip helped Saint Mary's' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 53 yards.
Bonde put up the best numbers through the air as the Panthers bested the Mustangs. Bonde's favorite target this week was Godfrey, who caught 6 passes for 164 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Anthony Williams of St. Patrick-St. Vincent is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,536. He has also thrown 22 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Godfrey. The Saint Mary's star has 50 catches for 1,116 yards.
El Cerrito extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Campolindo, 49-34. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Gauchos.
