On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Indianapolis Shortridge beat Indianapolis Lutheran 47-43. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Indianapolis Shortridge.
 Indianapolis Shortridge found their leader in underclassman  KaMariona Garrett, who  scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Garrett has scored all season.
 Despite the loss, Indianapolis Lutheran still got an impressive performance from   Grace King, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 11  rebounds. King has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last ten times she's  played.
 Indianapolis Shortridge's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indianapolis Shortridge will take on Herron at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Indiana (Herron is ranked 259th, while Indianapolis Shortridge is ranked 265th). As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Indianapolis Scecina Memorial is hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
