Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Crystal Springs Uplands, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-43 loss to Priory on Friday. Crystal Springs Uplands was down 47-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The losing side was boosted by Vishal Garimella, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Diaz, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Sacred Heart Prep is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Sacred Heart Prep against Crystal Springs Uplands in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 62-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sacred Heart Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
