They took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 61-10 win over Hunters Lane. Winning may never get old, but Hillsboro sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Shinae Johnson was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ragan Starks, who scored 13 points.
Hillsboro's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.89 points. As for Hunters Lane, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will take on East Nashville Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (East Nashville Magnet: 29.3, Hillsboro: 29.4) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Hunters Lane, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against McGavock at 6:00 p.m.
