The Wright Tech Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Foran, falling 67-18. Wright Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.
Faith Doyle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Foran, scoring ten points along with seven assists and six steals. The match was Doyle's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Ava Sanz was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Wright Tech's loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Foran, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Wright Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Foran will head out on the road to face off against Hillhouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillhouse will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Foran is ranked 28th).
