Pottsgrove extended the longest winning streak in Pioneer this week by beating Boyertown, 62-29. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Owen J. Roberts was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from 10th to seventh in the league. The Wildcats defeated Pope John Paul II 26-14 earlier in the week.
Spring-Ford's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Zac DeMedio threw for 80 and 2 touchdowns and Cody Davis had 26 yards receiving. On the ground Jarred Jones contributed 135 yards. Jake Leahy helped Spring-Ford's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 23 yards.
The Rams' dynamic duo of DeMedio and Davis proved to be unstoppable against Pottstown, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Leahy helped Spring-Ford's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 23 yards.
Jones was a passing and rushing force as Spring-Ford defeated the Trojans. Jones' key target this week was Davis, who caught 2 passes for 26 yards.
Spring-Ford's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandon Leacraft has thrown for 751 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Gary Hopkins has 21 catches for 440 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pottsgrove takes on Phoenixville. At the moment, Rick Pennypacker's team is in first, while the Phantoms are in sixth.
