With a playoff win on the line, Foothill rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Las Plumas Thunderbirds 45-6. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 33 points or more this season.

Foothill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points over those games. As for Las Plumas, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Foothill will challenge Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. Las Plumas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
