Maquoketa have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Wahlert on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-42, which was the final score in Maquoketa's tilt against Marion two weeks ago. Maquoketa were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Meanwhile, Wahlert were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against Marion last Friday. Wahlert have to be aching after a bruising 28-56 defeat to Marion. Wahlert's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it seven losses in a row.
Maquoketa took a serious blow against Wahlert the last time the two teams met, falling 7-42. Can Maquoketa avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
