The Ford Panthers are on the road again on Friday and play against the Pittsburg Pirates at 1:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Ford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Ford came up short against Venus and fell 52-43.
Kent Warden put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anderson Smith, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Pittsburg beat Mount Vernon 59-54 on Tuesday.
Ford bumped their record down to 3-2 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Pittsburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
