The Fort Knox Eagles' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Louisville Collegiate Titans at 7:45 p.m. on February 12th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Fort Knox was beaten by Beth Haven 76-43. Fort Knox has struggled against Beth Haven recently, as their contest on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Louisville Collegiate's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Male, falling 78-37. While losing is never fun, Louisville Collegiate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Male is ranked 19th).
Fort Knox has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Louisville Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
Fort Knox came up short against Louisville Collegiate when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 55-44. Can Fort Knox avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
