 Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Everett Alvarez, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-12.
 Notre Dame will head out on the road to  take on  Monterey at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Notre Dame's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9  runs per game  this season, so Monterey's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Everett Alvarez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
