Adding to the longest winning streak in Section 6 D this week, Randolph beat Portville 48-7. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Cardinals.
Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake took down Clymer Central 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ryan Miller ran for 168 yards and caught 1 pass for 35 yards during the win.
Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Mayer threw for 35 and 1 touchdown and Miller had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Miller contributed 168 yards. Jonah Tanner helped Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.
Miller was a passing and rushing force as Curt Fischer's team bested the Pirates.
Mayer put up the best numbers through the air as Maple Grove/Chautauqua Lake topped Clymer Central.
Mayer has thrown for 287 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while A.J. Hulton has 3 catches for 90 yards.
Ellicottville/West Valley Central made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,875 from 10,254. The improvement was largely due to a 22-7 victory over Nichols last week.
