Valders's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Kewaunee Storm 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Austin Starr spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

At the plate, Valders saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Ebert, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Valders' win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Kewaunee, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

Valders does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kewaunee, they will be playing at home against Freedom at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
