Mya Ankers was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Amaya Richardson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Armwood is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Blake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Armwood will be playing at home against Tampa Bay Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tampa Bay Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 334th, while Armwood is ranked 161st). As for Blake, they will head out on the road to face off against Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home.
