They fell  54-41 to the Blue Raiders.   Darrius Brown and  Celeb Dunlap certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Brown  scored 12 points along with four  steals, while  Dunlap  scored six points along with six  steals. Dunlap has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last six times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown, who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds.
 California City dropped their record down to 13-12 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Caruthers, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-14.
 California City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caruthers, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Strathmore at 12:00  p.m. Strathmore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
