While Menchville put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Phoebus. The Monarchs were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Phantoms. Considering the Monarchs have won eight games by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Menchville and bumps their season record up to 11-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Phoebus, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menchville will host Denbigh at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Monarchs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Phoebus, they will take on Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.31 runs per game on average), something the Phantoms will no doubt try to take advantage of.
