Sumter won the last time they faced Westwood and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Gamecocks put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp  14-0 victory. Considering the Gamecocks have won seven matches by more than seven  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.

Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  McKayla Mouradjian was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Sumter  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Sumter has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Westwood,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumter will square off against Latta at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Westwood, they will challenge West Florence at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
