The Crawford County Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow  as they fell  65-47 to Marion County. While losing is never fun, Crawford County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 488th, while Marion County is ranked 148th).
 Despite the loss, Crawford County still got an impressive performance from   Jackson Walton, who  scored 16 points along with 5  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jamahl Willis, who  scored 8 points along with 12  rebounds.
 Crawford County bumped their record down to 2-5 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Marion County,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Crawford County will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Furlow Charter School at 7:30  p.m. Furlow Charter School is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Marion County, they will head out on the road to face off against Manchester at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
