Elberta won the last time they faced LeFlore and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Rattlers. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Elberta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for LeFlore, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Elberta and LeFlore could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 273rd) will meet Orange Beach (ranked 81st) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, LeFlore will take on Cottage Hill Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (408 vs. 113).
