Evans has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Damian Cervantez was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Jefferson West bumped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Valley Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Jefferson West will square off against Oskaloosa at TBD on Saturday. As for Valley Falls, they will head out on the road to take on Perry-Lecompton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Perry-Lecompton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
