The Faith Christian Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 23-13 to Holly Hill Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Faith Christian in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.
Holly Hill Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Essie Wolpert, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wolpert has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Wren, who scored eight points.
Faith Christian dropped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Holly Hill Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13.
Faith Christian will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holly Hill Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
