Swampscott not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Gloucester Fishermen as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Big Blue.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Swampscott took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-6, 25-9.

Swampscott's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gloucester, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Swampscott will be playing at home against Winthrop at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gloucester, they will venture away from home to face off against Georgetown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
