The Humble Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 32-7 margin over Beaumont United. The result was nothing new for Humble, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Humble's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristen Bernard led the charge by throwing for 257 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Robert Fields, who picked up 118 receiving yards.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Humble, racking up 12 points in total. All those points came courtesy of Ernesto Avilia: he added nine points with three field goals, and another three kicking extra points.
Humble's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Beaumont United, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
