The Maiden Blue Devils can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Caldwell 64-23 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Maiden has posted since December 5, 2023.
Leading Maiden to victory were Khiara Culliver and Kynsea Pugh. Culliver dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Pugh scored 21 points. Culliver continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Raegan Rembert was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Maiden and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for West Caldwell, their defeat was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maiden will challenge Bandys at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bandys focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday. As for West Caldwell, they will head out on the road to challenge Lincolnton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
