The Chaparral Wolverines are on the road again  on Wednesday to play the Highlands Ranch Falcons at 4:15  p.m. Chaparral's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7  runs per game  this season, so Highlands Ranch's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 On Tuesday, Chaparral beat Ralston Valley 6-3.

 Meanwhile,  Highlands Ranch unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell victim to a  rough 18-8 defeat at the hands of Castle View. Highlands Ranch has not had much luck with Castle View recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
  Ayden Wells made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.  Trevor Gottsegen was another key contributor,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Highlands Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Chaparral came out on top in a nail-biter against Highlands Ranch  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  16-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chaparral since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
