The Hunter College Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Environmental Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hunter College will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, Hunter College humbled Art & Design with a 55-19 victory. Given Hunter College's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Art & Design is ranked 225th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Environmental had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 52-32 margin over Richman.
Environmental's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from WILLIS CHAN, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was OMAR BATISTA, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Hunter College now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Environmental, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Hunter College strolled past Environmental when the teams last played back in January by a score of 60-43. Does Hunter College have another victory up their sleeve, or will Environmental turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
