The Lebanon Yellowjackets suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They suffered a rough 59-33 loss at the hands of Hartville. It was the first time this season that Lebanon let down their fans at home.
Lebanon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kory Hough, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Noah Boggs, who scored eight points.
Lebanon's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Hartville, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will square off against Wright City on Tuesday. Wright City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Lebanon is ranked 100th). Hartville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fair Grove at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
