Union City has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Cochranton Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Union City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Union City scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Youngsville by a score of 58-47.
Meanwhile, Cochranton pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 84-66 fall against Rocky Grove. Cochranton has not had much luck with the Orioles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Union City's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Cochranton, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Union City came up short against the Cardinals in their previous matchup back in January, falling 45-39. Can Union City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
