Fike and Northern Nash are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Golden Demons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fike has given up an average of 32.2 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Fike is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games last Friday. They were beaten by Rocky Mount 42-14. The contest marked the Golden Demons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Braylen Loftin
08/22/25 vs North Moore | 31 |
09/05/25 @ Ayden - Grifton | 41 |
08/28/25 @ South Johnston | 69 |
09/12/25 vs Ashley | 105 |
09/19/25 @ Rocky Mount | 175 |
Despite the loss, Fike saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Braylen Loftin picked up 175 receiving yards and one score. Those 175 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Loftin.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northern Nash). They walked away with a 44-33 win over South Central last Friday.
Fike better keep an eye on Myles Eatmon. He was instrumental in Northern Nash's win, rushing for 255 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Eatmon is now averaging an impressive 133 rushing yards per game.
Northern Nash was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 362 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
One reason for the win was Northern Nash's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Preston McDaniel, Tollie West IV, and Holton Westbrook, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Fike now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northern Nash, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Fike ended up a good deal behind Northern Nash when the teams last played back in August of 2024, losing 31-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Eatmon, who rushed for 214 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Now that the Golden Demons know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
