If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Adna. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Toledo on Friday at Toledo High School at 7:00 PM. Adna are coming into the contest hot, having won three in a row.
Adna were able to grind out a solid victory over Kalama last Friday, winning 27-17. Senior Chance Fay, who rushed for 69 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Adna's success.
Meanwhile, Toledo were close but not close enough as they fell 17-20 to Napavine. This makes it the second loss in a row for Toledo.
Adna's win lifted them to 3-0 while Toledo's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Adna's success rolls on or if Toledo are able to steal their positive momentum.
