The Becker Bulldogs's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hancock 105-70 at home. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Mitchell Soltau went supernova for Becker, scoring 30 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Nathan Weiss was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Becker's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hancock, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Becker will stay at home for another game and welcome St. Francis at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. Hancock will take on Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Hancock likes a good challenge.
