Union County is 9-1 against the Vikings since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Seven Eison was a one-man wrecking crew for Union County as he scored 26 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eison has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Koepke, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Emerald can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 58-50 win over Chester.
Union County's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Emerald, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.
Union County beat the Vikings 67-59 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
