Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Hawkins, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bristol Thorell, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Axtell struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Sumner-Eddyville-Miller racked up 16 assists.
Mikah O'Neill continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. O'Neill has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Taryn Arbuthnot was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.
Axtell bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.2 points per game. As for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
