Lawrence Academy has gone 9-1 against Ridgecroft recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Rams at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Ridgecroft will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Lawrence Academy extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Warriors' pitcher stepped up to hand Pungo Christian Academy a 15-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

Clair Ferebee was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Lilly Brower was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with five RBI and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Ferebee, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs.
Lawrence Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive matchups.
Ridgecroft never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Pungo Christian Academy on Monday. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 10-2 victory. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2025 (when they won 11-2).
Klaire Cherry made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Cherry was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Hannah Slaughter was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Madison Joyner, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and three RBI.
Lawrence Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Ridgecroft, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Ridgecroft's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Lawrence Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Ridgecroft, though, as they've been averaging only 2.8 strikeouts. Will Lawrence Academy keep running through batters, or will the Rams buck the trend?
