Football Recap: Social Circle Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Social Circle extended their road winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Remi Farmer. The Redskins simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Warren County Screaming Devils 35-8 for which the team can thank Farmer, who rushed for 111 yards and one score. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 57 yards.

One reason for the win was Social Circle's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Ej Smith, Jalen Pope, and Traviyon Smith, who each picked up one sack apiece. Aj Bailey got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Social Circle's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Warren County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Social Circle will head out on the road to face off against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren County, they will host Johnson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
