Baseball Recap: St. Rita Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

St. Rita won the last time they faced Loyola Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Ramblers by a score of 14-9 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Christian Clark was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Quinn, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

St. Rita's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-16. As for Loyola Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-17.

St. Rita will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Ramblers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
