After two games on the road, Digital Harbor is heading back home. They will take on the Poly Engineers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Digital Harbor comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Thursday, Digital Harbor had to suffer through a rough 56-19 loss at the hands of City College. Digital Harbor has struggled against City College recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Poly put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dunbar 80-10 at home. Poly has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Poly's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mickelle Lowry, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lowry has scored all season. Arianna Makumi was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Digital Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Poly, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with that victory, which was their 14th straight at home.
Digital Harbor was dealt a bruising 80-14 loss at the hands of Poly in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Digital Harbor was down 49-9.
