Pine had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Central Catholic with a 40-34 win. That result is just more of the same for Pine, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Pine a 1-0 record and starting Central Catholic off at 0-1.
Pine will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Varnado at 7:00 PM. Central Catholic are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Archbishop Hannan next week at 7:00 PM.
