Bayard Rustin and Kennett played the most hotly contested game in Ches-Mont - American this week, with Bayard Rustin eventually emerging with a 29-26 victory.
The Blue Demons' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Jones threw for 35 yards and Kevin McQuiston had 23 yards receiving. On the ground Jordan Lardani chipped in 140 yards. Maalik Rochester helped Kennett's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Kennett's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Demons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jones has thrown for 537 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Liam Clarke has 10 catches for 213 yards. Lardani leads the league in rushing with 678 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Great Valley takes on the Golden Knights. As it stands, the Patriots are in second, while Bayard Rustin is in third.
Sun Valley led Ches-Mont - American in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Octorara Area.
