The Drumright Tornadoes gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-52 victory over Davenport. That's another feather in the cap for Drumright, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Joseph Bray went supernova for Drumright, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 19 rebounds. Jonathon Chavez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 3 steals.
Drumright's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Davenport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drumright will face off against Agra at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Agra comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Davenport, they will head out on the road to face off against Oilton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
