Last Thursday, Choteau was able to grind out a solid victory over Dutton-Brady, taking the game 36-27.
Ava Gunderson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Zoey Tobar was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, North Toole County scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Choteau and snuck past 63-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Choteau's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8. As for North Toole County, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
